See if we’re a fit

The diagnostic

The Brand
Fact-Check.

A paid strategic diagnostic for proven businesses in transition. Before you spend on a rebrand, a new site, or more marketing, this finds out whether that spend is actually solving the right problem.

What it is

The Brand Fact-Check identifies the gap between the value you’ve built and the value your brand actually communicates, determines what’s causing it, and prescribes what should change before you invest in execution.

It is not a rebrand, and it doesn’t assume you need one. It’s an investigation. Sometimes the finding is that branding isn’t your problem at all, and we’ll tell you that too.

What gets examined

  • Positioning
  • Offer presentation
  • Messaging and proof
  • Identity
  • Experience and conversion
  • Internal alignment

How it works

  1. We look at the evidence

Your site, your materials, how you’re actually showing up, and how customers describe you in their own words, not how you describe yourselves.

  2. We map it against the six domains

Each one gets checked against what we find, not against a generic checklist. Some domains may turn out fine. We only flag what the evidence actually supports.

  3. You get a diagnosis and a prescription

A clear, specific read on what’s actually creating the gap, and what should change to close it, in plain language, not an agency pitch.

  4. You decide what happens next

Fix it with us, hand it to someone else, or sit on it. The diagnosis stands on its own either way.

What you walk away with

A written diagnosis and prescription: what’s working, what’s creating the disconnect, and specifically what to change and why. It's yours whether or not you ever hire Schola to implement it.

Where this stands right now

The Brand Fact-Check is a newly formalized version of the diagnostic thinking behind every project in our case studies. As its own named engagement, it’s new, so there isn’t yet a completed Fact-Check of this exact shape to point to. What you can see is the pattern it’s built from.
